Kunsthalle Mannheim
Kunsthalle Mannheim. The place for modern and contemporary art in Mannheim. Since 1909, diverse historical works of art as well as key works of contemporary art have been exhibited here. The museum also shines with its changing exhibitions. The Kunsthalle is worth a visit not only for its exhibits. It represents an architectural highlight in Mannheim and especially the transition from the historic Art Nouveau building to the modern new building is artistically and architecturally staged. The simple extension of the old building accentuates the works of art.
Make it new
Here you can see an example of a logo redesign. I created this one in the Corporate Design course at the faculty of design at the Hochschule Mannheim. The open, light-flooded architecture, as well as the transition from old to new, is captured by the transparency of the merging forms. The composition of pure RGB colors stands for modernity and the diversity of the exhibited artworks.
